Stella "So you're the new farmer in town, huh? The name's Stella."
Stella "I help out at Brittany's ranch and manage the store there. Stop by anytime you need to buy something."
Player "Thanks. Do you have any advice for me?"
Stella "Advice? Get yourself a stiff upper lip and get ready to work."
Stella "You'll be toiling from dawn to dusk every single day, rain or shine. I don't want to hear any complaining from you either. If you've got time to complain, you've got time to shut up and work."
Stella "Work hard enough and you'll get ahead with a little bit of luck. And by luck, I mean work. You make your own luck in this life."
Stella "Don't go relying on other people, either. The only person you can rely on yourself."
  Player "I'll...keep that in mind."
Stella "You do that. See you around, <name>."

  Stella "Hello <name>, good timing!"
Stella "Since there are many people becoming farmers those days, I decided to write a small rule book on how to become a farmer."
  Player "Really? That sounds great."
Stella "I've already finished the first chapter, titled <color:important>Shipping</color>."
Stella "In this chapter I explain that in order to sell your products, you need to put them on your shipping box, so that Devin can pick it in the morning."
Stella "I also make a very important note that in order to become a successful farmer you need to ship something everyday, no matter what happens."
Stella "If you don't have any products from your farm, you can go forage on the mountains, hit the mines or even go fishing. There's no excuse not to sell anything."
  Player "Even on weekends?"
  Stella "Farmers don't have weekends."

Stella "Chapter two explains that the store will always sell you boxes with 10 seeds inside, so you need to plan accordingly. There's no point in buying 30 turnip seeds and only sowing 5."
Stella "After that, the book says that you need to water your crops everyday. If you forget to water the crops even once, they can easily die."
Stella "The longer you go without watering them, the more likely it is that you'll lose the plant. Of course you don't need to water them on rainy days."

  Stella "Hey <name>! How's work?"
Stella "Viktor stopped by earlier, wanting to buy some sugarcanes. He thought we would have some available because it's a crop that you can grow in any season."
Stella "The profit margin of the sugarcane is too low, so we usually don't grow any. I told him to go talk to you or Benjamin instead."

Stella "Chapter three is about small birds: chicken, ducks, geese and quail."
Stella "Those birds can lay eggs anywhere on your farm, but they'll only be fertilized if they have access to a nest and a male of their species."
Stella "For example: if you have a chicken and a rooster inside a coop, you may occasionally find fertilized eggs on the chicken nests."
Stella "In order to hatch those eggs, you need to leave at least one chicken inside the coop for a few more days."
Stella "If you're not interested in breeding, you can leave your animals outside so that they can grow stronger. When animals sleep outside they don't need you to feed them."
Stella "Just make sure to take them back inside if it looks like it's going to rain, or they may get stressed."

Stella "Brittany knows she can count of me, so she's not afraid of giving me many responsibilities when work piles up."

Stella "Cindy complains about grandpa too much. I know he can be harsh, but his harsh treatment is what made me be what I am today."
Stella "If only she worked hard on the farm, he wouldn't yell at her that much."

:stella_sequential_7
Stella "Benjamin's farm is not as productive as Brittany's. Not even close. He knows that, but he still hopes to catch up someday."
Stella "I like that about him, but he will never reach the same numbers as us without changing the way he does business."
Stella "We have the best numbers, but Benjamin has the best quality. It would be impossible for a single farm to have both."

:stella_sequential_8
Stella "I'm challenging myself this month. I'm trying to grow as many flowers as possible without affecting the monthly goal for crops and animal products."

Stella "Brittany used to have to import tools and machinery from the capital, but now we can buy it all from him."

Stella "I woke up with sore muscles today. I need to be more careful not to overwork too much, or my perfomance will be affected the next day."
Stella "What good does it do to complete 200% of my work goal in one day if I can only do 80% on the other? It's much better to have a stable 150% output."
